Qualifications
- High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
- Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization, or have received an equivalent formal training
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in relevant trade.
Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical/maintenance data.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
- Inform and consult with licensed aircraft engineer as required to enable licensed aircraft engineer to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
- Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
- Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
- Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
- Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Support quality audits and ensure compliance with Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Report defects, incidents, and non-conformities through proper channels
