Role Purpose
- To support with the security management services administration with the concerned departments and SANS facilities, in addition, review, update & implement SANS security program with all related policies, procedures, local and international (GACA, ICAO and related requirements) legal regulations in order to ensure a secure working environment for SANS employees within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in physical security and/or aviation security.
Education And Certifications
- A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
- Certification in Security Management or Administration is preferable.
Security Supervision And Control
- Contribute to the implementation of all required local and international regulations.
- Support in the development of security policies, protocols, and procedures according to the required regulations.
- Oversight Security at SANS to include all related operations and provide Security consultation as needed.
- Review and update policy adherence at all times and ensure that there are no cases of non-conformance/non-adherence.
Security Infrastructure & Control
- Ensure all security Infrastructures are functioning as per the requirements and policy & procedure.
- Ensure security personnel is monitoring CCTV footages at all hours and ensure that the same is being recorded.
- Report on the progress and implementation of the security risk assessment implementation for all SANS premises, facilities, and shelters
- Ensure that CCTV is operating and recording normally without any interruption.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare reports related to security implementation, requirements & evaluation in SANS premises, facilities, and shelters.
- Review, report, and recommend on incident and breach reports provided by F&GS/security section nd share the report with the management to keep them informed.
- Prepare preliminary and final audit, investigation, and inspection reports.
Process Improvement
- and Efficiency Management
- Participate in coming up with ideas/possible ways in improving existing systems and processes
- Report and analyze past incidents, occurrences and the latest trends in security management related to SANS business to draft proposals for driving process improvements
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes considering leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
People Management
- Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign, and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow.
- Promote a high-performance working environment embracing SANS s values.
