Role overview
The AV Technician sets up audiovisual equipment for hotel events and provides technical assistance for banquet facilities and rooms.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, check, remove, and store banquet-function equipment based on daily function sheets.
- Operate equipment for functions when required.
- Conduct monthly inventory of banquet equipment and log incoming and outgoing equipment requested for outside catering daily.
- Carry out preventive maintenance assignments and assist engineering colleagues when needed.
- Keep the AV control room and storage room clean and orderly.
- Inspect function rooms and breakout areas daily; ensure lights, air conditioning, and services are defect-free, repairing or replacing lamps promptly.
- Carry out other work requested by superiors.
