Role overview

Investment assessment and modelling

• Research markets, review hotel assets and analyse comparable properties to assess development positioning and feasibility.
• Build and evaluate hotel profit and loss projections, value contracts against proposed deal terms, and identify key risks and opportunities.
• Prepare committee approval analysis, align projections with relevant teams and highlight considerations for informed decisions.

Approvals and collaboration

• Coordinate committee papers, agendas, electronic approvals and minutes, ensuring submissions are timely, complete and financially supported.
• Partner with Development, Design, Legal, Operations, Commercial and Finance colleagues, and guide Development teams on required approvals.
• Contribute to reporting, audit activities, ad hoc analysis and special projects while improving team efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and skills

• Hotel school qualification or bachelor's degree in Tourism, Finance, Business, Economics or a relevant subject.
• Strong analytical and numerical approach, clear communication of financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders, and competence in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with hotel performance metrics and profit and loss statements, plus understanding of hotel ownership and business models.
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF).
• Strong organisation and attention to detail; excellent written and spoken English.
• Fluency in an additional European language is ideal.
