The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an AV Technician to provide technical support to staff and students.
The role supports teaching, learning, assemblies, presentations, conferences, performances, and school events.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional AV and lighting support from setup through completion of school activities and events.
- Help ensure smooth delivery of teaching and learning, presentations, performances, and events.
- Contribute ideas to enhance and develop AV provision across the school.
About you
- Have hands-on experience with audio, lighting, projection, video, recording, and live-streaming equipment.
- Troubleshoot quickly and remain calm under pressure.
- Be organized, reliable, proactive, and attentive to detail.
- Collaborate with IT, Creative Arts, Facilities, staff, and students, and work independently when needed.
- Be enthusiastic about technology, willing to share expertise, and interested in contributing ideas.

- The role is based at The British International School Abu Dhabi.
- The start date is mid-October 2026.
