in the appointment of a
Automotive Chemical Manufacturing
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the complete technical, manufacturing, and production operations of an automotive and specialty chemicals facility.
The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing, formulation development, batch production processes, quality systems, and factory operations, with a proven ability to lead teams and drive operational excellence.
Relocation to KSA is required.
Target Industry Experience
- Candidates must have experience in automotive chemicals or closely related chemical manufacturing industries, including:
- Automotive chemicals and car care products
- Lubricants, oils, greases, and additives
- Coolants and AdBlue (DEF) production
- Industrial and specialty chemicals
- Paints, coatings, and resins
- Detergents and chemical blending manufacturing
- Industrial cleaning chemicals
Core Functional Areas
- Automotive chemical formulation and product development
- Batch manufacturing, blending, mixing, filling, and packaging operations
- Production planning and manufacturing management
- QA/QC systems, laboratory testing, and quality compliance
- Factory troubleshooting and process optimization
- Cost reduction and manufacturing performance improvement
- New product development and innovation
- Technical leadership of production and cross-functional teams
- Operational reporting, coordination, and team management
Product Exposure Required
- Car care products (shampoo, polish, interior care, tire shine)
- Coolants and radiator fluids
- AdBlue / DEF solutions
- Degreasers and industrial cleaners
- Lubricants and additives
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Petrochemicals, or a related technical discipline
- Strong experience in automotive chemicals or related chemical manufacturing is essential
- Hands-on leadership experience within a chemical manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of batch production, blending, filling, packaging, and plant operations
- Exposure to QA/QC systems and quality compliance is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and reporting skills
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred
- 5–10 years of relevant industry experience preferred
