Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Generate test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve test processes and automation coverage.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in automation testing tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Cypress
- Playwright
• TestNG And JUnit
- Experience in API testing using:
- Postman
- REST Assured
- SoapUI
- Programming knowledge in:
- Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
- Experience with CI/CD tools:
• Jenkins, GitLab CI And CD, Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
