Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer.
  • Basic understanding of automation systems and technologies (PLC, SCADA, DCS)
  • Strong willingness to learn and perform more than assigned tasks
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and have a continuous improvement mindset
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and ability to use project management tools
  • A strong interest in technical tasks and willing to go out in the field
  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail

Experience

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience Or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.

  • Rockwell Studio 5000
  • Schneider Unity
  • Modicon
  • Siemens TIA Portal
  • Human Machine Interface:
  • Rockwell Factory Talk SE and ME
  • Wonder ware InTouch and WSP

  • Siemens WinCC
  • Communication protocols:
  • AS-i
  • Ethernet IP
  • Profinet
  • Profibus
  • CANopen
  • Skills and Abilities
  • This position requires proficiency in English, as the nature of the duties involves regular communication with clients across Canada and the United States. The requirement for English is essential to perform these responsibilities effectively. French speaker will be also a plus in the process.
