Auto Electrician - Field Service

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on CAT mining and construction equipment in the field Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and machine control systems Conduct fault finding using advanced diagnostic tools and software Complete planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and commissioning activities Maintain accurate service records and provide technical support to customers Work safely and collaboratively with customers, supervisors and support teams What You’ll Bring Australian recognised Auto Electrical Trade Qualification Demonstrated experience performing diagnostics and fault finding on heavy mobile equipment Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic and electronic control systems Experience working on CAT equipment or similar mining and construction machinery (highly regarded) Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service Previous Field Service experience (highly regarded) Why Join WesTrac? 12 weeks paid parental leave + income protection Strong job security with long ‐ term career pathways Flexitime, RDOs & purchased leave (up to 5 weeks p.a.)
