Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled AV
Technician
to install, configure, and support Crestron automation and AV control systems across commercial and high-end residential projects.
The role involves system installation, programming support, troubleshooting, and client training to ensure seamless operation of integrated AV and automation solutions.
System Installation & Commissioning
- Install, mount, and wire Crestron hardware including control processors, touch panels, lighting controls, and motorized shades.
- Configure systems according to project design specifications and technical drawings.
Programming & Configuration
- Load, modify, and test Crestron code using
- SIMPL Windows, Crestron Studio, or HTML5 interfaces
- .
- Ensure user interfaces and system controls function as intended.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve system issues both
- on-site and remotely
- .
- Identify faulty components and repair or replace hardware when required.
Network Configuration
- Configure
- IP addresses, subnets, and network settings
- for Crestron devices to ensure proper communication across LAN/WAN networks.
Documentation & Testing
- Maintain system documentation, update diagrams, and record project changes.
- Perform final system testing and inspections to ensure optimal functionality.
Client Training
- Train end users on operating Crestron systems and provide basic troubleshooting guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with
- Crestron software suites (Toolbox, SIMPL Windows, Crestron Studio)

- Strong understanding of
- AV signal flow (audio, video, control systems)

- Knowledge of
- networking protocols (IP, TCP/UDP)

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on-site installations.
