Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Audio Visual (AV) Event & Technology Specialist

to manage end-to-end event coordination and enterprise AV operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting all audio-visual systems while ensuring seamless event delivery and user satisfaction.

The role requires strong expertise in event management, AV systems setup, teleconferencing technologies, digital mixers, smart boards, projectors, wireless microphone systems, and multimedia infrastructure.

The candidate should also support procurement, vendor management, maintenance contracts, and long-term AV technology planning.

1. Event Planning & Coordination

  • Identify client requirements and event expectations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, exhibitors, speakers, and stakeholders for event execution.
  • Manage complete event lifecycle including setup, execution, teardown, and post-event review.
  • Conduct site inspections and final readiness checks.
  • Book venues, photographers, entertainers, and schedule speakers.
  • Evaluate event success and prepare event closure reports.

2. AV Systems Setup & Operations

  • Set up, configure, test, and maintain:
  • Teleconferencing systems
  • Projectors
  • Smart boards
  • Digital mixers
  • Wireless microphone systems
  • Multimedia devices
  • Speaker systems
  • Recording equipment

• Cameras And Camcorders

  • Fine-tune microphone systems during live events, press conferences, and media sessions.
  • Manage AV bookings and equipment scheduling.

3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

  • Diagnose and resolve AV hardware/software issues.
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Support end users during meetings, conferences, and corporate events.
  • Respond to AV support requests via calls, emails, and tickets.

4. AV Infrastructure & Asset Management

  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and spare parts.
  • Tag, label, and audit AV assets periodically.
  • Track AV equipment lifecycle, repairs, and replacements.
  • Supervise equipment deliveries and installations.

5. Vendor & Contract Management

  • Coordinate with maintenance contractors and vendors for AV support.
  • Monitor AV support contracts and service quality.
  • Manage contract-based installations and maintenance.

6. Procurement & Capacity Planning

  • Research and recommend AV technologies for procurement.
  • Support budgeting for AV equipment and consumables.
  • Assist in long-term AV strategy and capacity planning.

7. Policies, Documentation & Governance

  • Develop and maintain AV operational procedures and standards.
  • Document AV failures, installations, repairs, and removals.
  • Maintain technical documentation and equipment manuals.

8. Media Production Support

  • Produce, edit, duplicate, and manage AV media content as required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:

• Audio Visual Technology

  • Electronics
  • Information Technology
  • Multimedia Technology
  • Computer Science

Experience

  • Minimum
  • 5+ years
  • of hands-on experience in Audio Visual systems and event support.
  • Minimum
  • 3+ years
  • of event coordination experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate conferences, press conferences, and large-scale events.
