ATE Technician

Role overview

Your responsibilities

• Perform level 1 or task-based preventive maintenance on ATE equipment at DXB, DWC, or EFTA; level 2 work may be undertaken when suitably qualified and competence type-rated.
• Document maintenance according to the CNS Exposition and Operations Manual, keeping accurate and timely logs and reports.
• Use the ATE maintenance management system (CMMS) to record work activities and provide accurate data for KPI reporting.
• Support logistics and inventory management for ATE operations.
• Prioritize safety, maintain knowledge of ATE hazard registers, and comply with safety and quality processes.
• Contribute to CNS Safety Objectives and safety and quality working-group activities.
• Follow SLAs and coordinate with external ANSPs and colleagues to support customer service.
• Maintain a personal Airport Driving Permit Level 4 for runway operations maintenance.

Your qualifications

• Formal education including basic electronics.
• Fluency in written and spoken English to a recognized IELTS or UAE ELP level.
• Basic technical knowledge of communications, navigation, radar, ATM, and other airport systems.
• Basic knowledge of ATC and customer procedures, and knowledge of CNS annual Safety Objectives.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience, is preferable.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, components, and IT networks is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematic diagrams is advantageous.
• Ability to hold an Airfield Driving Permit is preferred.
