Air Traffic Controller - Dubai (DXB & DWC)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage air traffic services to ensure safe, orderly, and expeditious flow for aircraft in assigned areas.
• Manage traffic flow and provide slot-allocation information as needed to avoid congestion.
• Coordinate promptly with adjacent ATC units, UAE military, Airside Operations, and other relevant agencies.
• Meet ROSI requirements and provide accurate, unambiguous, complete safety-incident information.
• Support a safety-reporting culture without punishment for actions consistent with staff experience and training; gross negligence, willful violations, and destructive acts are not tolerated.

Qualifications

• Validated ATC licence with an Aerodrome/Tower or Approach Radar rating.
• Ideally 3 years exercising the rating at a major international airport.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ATC procedures and standards, and knowledge of aviation safety management systems.
• At least ICAO Level 4 English proficiency.
• Valid Class 3 ATC Medical Certificate.
• Clear, concise communication, proactive teamwork, and effectiveness in a high-pressure environment.
