Position details

Maintenance and life safety

• Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment; recommend replacements.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; locate and operate shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock supplies and parts; maintain inventory and purchase-order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines; use computers to enter and locate work-related information; operate power lifts.
• Complete life-safety checklists, fire-pump and generator run tests, and inspections of fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist with disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.

Team and guest service

• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Follow company and safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries and complete safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and confidentiality; welcome guests, address service needs, and assist people with disabilities.
• Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Meet quality standards and recommend or implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.
• Perform physical duties including lifting, carrying, standing, walking, and using stairs or service ramps; perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Preferred qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• No license or certification specified.
