Commercial requirements

  • Candidates must meet all four core commercial criteria: project budget and margin ownership; contractual milestone invoicing; strict scope and change control; and multi-vendor commercial oversight.
  • Budget ownership includes managing cash flow, cost variances, burn rates, and margin protection.
  • Milestone invoicing experience includes mapping technical deliverables to payment terms, tracking WIP, and identifying billing triggers.
  • Scope control includes enforcing SOW boundaries, pricing and negotiating change requests, and preventing unbilled scope creep.
  • Vendor oversight includes managing commercial deliverables, contracts, and SLAs for OEMs, subcontractors, and system integrators.

Commercial and financial governance

  • Maintain control of project budgets, revenue triggers, and gross margins.
  • Forecast financial risks, track cost variances, and coordinate timely customer invoicing with finance.
  • Price scope changes and protect profitability by preventing margin leakage.

Technical delivery and reporting

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of specialized technology projects involving SharePoint, Azure Cloud, Data and AI, cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure, and turnkey projects.
  • Build and maintain baselined project schedules, work breakdown structures, critical paths, and key milestones using Microsoft Project and Microsoft EPM.
  • Publish executive reports covering delivery progress, budget versus actuals, and financial exposure.
  • Maintain RAID logs and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain SOW validations, change orders, customer acceptance certificates, and closure sign-offs.

Vendor and stakeholder management

  • Lead internal and customer-facing governance meetings with enterprise and Qatari government stakeholders.
  • Hold third-party vendors and subcontractors accountable for contractual commitments and delivery schedules.

Experience, certification, and languages

  • Five years of IT project management experience managing Microsoft SharePoint is required.
  • Five years of experience with Azure Cloud, Data and AI, IT infrastructure, information security, and cybersecurity is required.
  • Five years of experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft EPM is required.
  • PMP certification is required; PRINCE2 or ITIL is listed as a plus.
  • Arabic and English are required.

Pay

  • Pay is up to QAR 9,000 per month.

  • The role is in person.
