Role Overview
The Authentication Program supports consumer authentication for in-store and e-commerce transactional use cases.
The role develops and delivers authentication products including ID Check, Token Authentication Service, and Token Authentication Framework.
The position is described as Senior Software Engineer in Test / Senior Automation Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for a single application, including test data generation and environment preparation.
- Participate in project reviews, walkthroughs, inspections, and reviews of test plans, requirements, cases, and automation.
- Identify automation opportunities and implement automation efforts.
- Own automation and continuous integration activities.
- Identify defects early through requirements analysis and code reviews with development teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with coding, software development, or automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience writing functional and integration test cases.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Serenity, Cucumber, BrowserStack, or Selenium.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Ability to create acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate them with Jenkins and Sonar.
- Experience developing test strategies, executing tests, and preparing test environments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of performance and security testing using tools such as Gatling, JMeter, or Blazemeter.
Team and Work Model
The team works in small, collaborative groups of software engineers and product managers.
