Job Purpose
Own merchandising, pricing and promotion, and localization strategy across 10 D2C storefronts in English and Arabic.
Set strategy and briefs for execution by the Ecom Executive across five GCC markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Set CMS, campaign-page, offer-page, and homepage merchandising strategy across all 10 storefronts.
- Set catalog, pricing, and promotional strategy in both languages.
- Define culturally accurate Arabic localization standards and quality-check Arabic content.
- Direct the Ecom Executive's build queue and priorities for page updates.
- Monitor Arabic and English storefront conversion and AOV, adjusting strategy to close gaps.
- Review Arabic social and marketing content for tone and cultural accuracy before publication.
- Partner with the Senior Ecommerce Manager on category pricing and the promotional calendar.
- Align offers across paid, lifecycle, and on-site channels with Performance Marketing and CRM.
- Brief the design agency or graphic designer on campaign creative and review output against the brand theme.
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
- 5–7 years in e-commerce merchandising, trading, or category management; GCC/MENA D2C or retail experience is desirable.
- Fluent Arabic and English required; native or near-native Arabic is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial judgment in pricing, promotions, and catalog strategy.
- Experience with e-commerce CMS platforms; Magento is an example.
- Comfort interpreting storefront conversion and AOV data to guide strategy.
- Strong briefing and stakeholder management skills, including directing a team member's daily execution queue.
- High attention to detail, particularly in localization quality and cultural nuance.
