Parsons is hiring an Associate Highway Design Engineer in Dubai, UAE.
The role is developmental and provides supervised exposure to highway engineering theories, practices, and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform highway engineering duties involving road and highway design and analysis.
- Develop engineering skills under close supervision and apply basic engineering techniques.
- Participate in possible rotations through project controls, procurement, construction management, and other engineering disciplines.
- Use computer-aided engineering and computer-aided design applications where assigned.
- Travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations as needed.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 1 year of highway design or engineering experience is requested, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic engineering knowledge in fields such as electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering is required.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and related engineering software is required.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.
