Key responsibilities
- Support installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot basic electrical faults.
- Read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Support electrical equipment testing and commissioning; assist with panels, distribution boards, switchgear, and cables.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors; maintain records and technical documentation.
- Support projects, shutdowns, upgrades, modifications, material coordination, and reliability improvements.
- Report abnormalities and technical issues and follow HSE, electrical safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- One to three years of relevant electrical engineering or maintenance experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, panels, and cabling.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics; knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Understanding of electrical safety, HSE, and safe working practices; basic knowledge of testing instruments and tools.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.
