Associate Director - Project Manager

Role overview

Experience and education

• Requires at least 8 years of relevant project management experience with leading financial software vendors or financial institution IT departments in Saudi Arabia.
• Requires proven delivery experience with SaaS or hosted software solutions.
• Requires a master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Skills and competencies

• Requires strong knowledge of project lifecycles and methodologies; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, and MS Project are cited examples.
• Requires hands-on delivery experience with Generative or Agentic AI solutions and the ability to apply AI tools to project and client challenges.
• Responsible and ethical AI use and awareness of AI risk management are expected.
• CreditLens, Moody’s Commercial Lending, and lending risk, Basel regulation, or asset liability management experience are highly valued, not mandatory.
• Strong client focus, communication, stakeholder satisfaction, and the ability to lead and motivate project teams are expected.

Project delivery responsibilities

• Lead project planning, prioritization, portfolio management, and delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Manage team deliverables, project responsibilities, resources, consultants, scope, changes, issues, and risks.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships; communicate priorities and project progress.
• Support project managers with advice on practices, team dynamics, team building, and motivation.
• Improve project methods, processes, and documentation while following PMO governance.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, and Client Services.
• Provide client services and proactive product support; support presales when requested.
• Engage with clients on-site and off-site and report progress to clients, senior internal stakeholders, and delivery teams.

Location and onboarding

• The position is based in Moody’s Riyadh office and supports financial institutions in Saudi Arabia.
• The successful candidate will initially onboard at Moody’s Middle East headquarters in Dubai before relocating to Riyadh.
