Associate Design Engineer (Fixture Design)

We are seeking a proficient and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer (Fixture Designer) with basic understanding in fixture design, GD&T, machining, DFM and strong shop-floor exposure.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate excellent 3D modeling and 2D drafting skills.

This team has global engineering ownership across several Connector Product Lines, provides Product Design and Validation Services, designs and develops Mold & Die Tooling, Gage & Fixture, Product Testing Systems and Application Tooling services to customers and stakeholders in Datacom and Specialty Solutions Division located across the globe. The Division primarily provides products and solutions that go into Datacenter and related infrastructure that powers cloud computing, artificial intelligence, etc. The position will be part of this engineering team at Molex India Business Services.

· Design and sustenance of Gauge and Fixtures for the quality team, to hold and measure our products on the assembly line.

· Design 3D models and assemblies ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to design specifications.

· Collaborate with Supervisor and team members to interpret technical specifications and voice of customers, and convert them into detailed designs, 3D models and 2D drawings.

· Create and maintain engineering documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), and release packages, within Teamcenter and ECTR.
