Lead post-contract commercial management for multiple residential villa and mid-rise projects in the UAE.
Provide commercial and contractual leadership across a portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial teams across project phases and act as the key commercial interface with senior contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Oversee contract administration and compliance; manage commercial, contractual, and claims-related matters.
- Provide strategic commercial advice and recommendations to project leadership.
- Review and negotiate commercial submissions, variations, and contractual correspondence.
- Drive timely commercial decisions and protect the Employer's commercial and contractual interests.
- Monitor commercial risks, implement mitigation, and support dispute avoidance and resolution through negotiation.
- Manage cost, change, claims, and contract administration; maintain commercial governance and support successful project delivery.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- MRICS membership is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
- Extensive UAE experience in residential mid-rise, mixed-use, and community developments.
- Experience leading commercial teams across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Post-contract expertise within consultancy, PMC, or client organizations.
Technical expertise
- Advanced knowledge of FIDIC Red Book contracts and post-contract commercial management.
- Expertise in cost reporting, financial management, cash flow forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience with variations, change management, final account negotiations, and settlement.
- Expertise in claims management, entitlement assessment, contract administration, and determinations.
- Knowledge of commercial risk management, cost analytics, and benchmarking.
