Assistant Store Manager at Rexall.
The role supports store leadership, team development, customer service, and pharmacy and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate sales ability and leadership while contributing to the overall store concept.
- Assist with recruitment, training, staff development and motivation, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and union issues where applicable.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Assist the Front Store Manager in meeting sales, gross profit, EBITDA, inventory, labour, shrink, and expense targets.
- Promote expertise in health and wellness products, merchandising, loss prevention, health and safety, and pharmacy and patient care.
- Follow retail price management, merchandising, planogram, flyer, core program, and local advertising initiatives.
How you will succeed
- Previous supervisory experience in retail is required.
- 1–2 years of retail experience.
- Exceptional multitasking and adaptability.
- Proven customer service and effective communication skills.
- Previous experience reviewing and analyzing financial reports.
