The Assistant Store Manager supports store leadership, performance, customer service, and patient care at Rexall.

What you will do
- Demonstrate sales ability and leadership while contributing to the overall store concept.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, development, motivation, performance evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and union issues where applicable.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Help the Front Store Manager meet sales, gross profit, EBITDA, inventory, labour, shrink, and controllable expense targets.
- Champion expertise in health and wellness products, merchandising, loss prevention, health and safety, and pharmacy and patient care.
- Follow price management, merchandising, planograms, core programs, flyer implementation, and local advertising initiatives.
How you will succeed
- Previous supervisory experience in retail is required.
- One to two years of retail experience.
- Strong multitasking and adaptability, customer service, and communication skills.
- Previous experience reviewing and analyzing financial reports.
