Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, is looking for a commercially driven and team-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn is the first of its brand in Abu Dhabi. What’s the job?

Step into the role of an Assistant Sales Manager – Catering & MICE, where you will drive sales with sharp commercial insights and excellent negotiations ability. You will be responsible for optimizing the business mix by securing the right segments at the appropriate rates, ensuring the hotel consistently achieves its occupancy, average rate, and revenue targets. In this role, you will provide comprehensive account management for a portfolio of assigned clients, while proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. Through strategic relationship management and targeted sales initiatives, you will grow market share within existing accounts and contribute to the overall achievement of the hotel’s commercial objectives.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

The duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and proactively promote the hotel’s corporate catering offerings to MICE planners, travel agents, and event organizers, driving brand visibility and market presence.
• Maximize revenue across Rooms and Food & Beverage segments, including events, group dining, and corporate functions.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, sales blitz, and networking engagements across Abu Dhabi and Dubai to strengthen market reach; and actively prospect and qualify leads to maximize revenue potential.
• Work closely with the DOSM and team to optimize pricing, promotions, and sales strategies; and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Provide personalized service to high-profile clients, ensuring an exceptional guest experience; and manage client accounts, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term partnerships.
• Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close business in alignment with hotel objectives.

What we need from you

The ideal candidate must meet the legal requirements to work in the UAE. The candidate must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in essential hotels with proven results and includes the following:

• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in in Hospitality, Marketing, Hotel or Business Management or similar field; and is highly passionate and energetic marketer willing to evolve in an innovative and fast paced environment.
• 1-2 years’ experience as sales executive or assistant sales manager managing Catering segment & MICE

You should also have the ability to identify, impact and influence others. You are a strong team player, enthusiastic and flexible.
