Key Responsibilities
- The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and completion of the Project.
- This role assists in coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- The Assistant Project Manager acts as a key liaison between team members and stakeholders (including but not limited to both government authorities, service providers, contractors and any other third-party organization relevant to Project) and may represent the Project Manager in meetings or during periods of absence.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent Experience.
- Required: Minimum experience in Project Execution, with at least year in senior supervisory positions, with Solid knowledge of oil and gas industry practices, regulations, and standards Technical.
- Management of quality of production.
- Management of Surface facilities.
- Project management.
- Management of Well performance, operations, and surveillance, well work.
- Result focused.
- Critical thinking, problem solving & trouble shoot.
- Tendering & contracting management.
- Budgeting and financial performance.
- Knowledgeable of contract development and UAE laws & regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving project goals.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and overcoming challenges.
- Knowledgeable of commercial and financing.
