Job Description Assistant Project Manager Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for a talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will support the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of master planning and infrastructure projects, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects
- Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- Maintain and organize project documentation, records, and reports
- Assist in the preparation, review, and proofreading of project deliverables and technical submissions
- Track project progress and prepare regular status updates and reports
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project requirements and deliverables
- Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and potential solutions
- Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
- Support administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, preparing estimates, and processing invoices
- Analyze project-related data and provide support in reporting and performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and project requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager in an organized and efficient manner
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or administrative support within engineering or construction environments
- Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Previous experience working on infrastructure or engineering consultancy projects
- Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management tools
- Understanding of project delivery processes and coordination procedures
- Knowledge of UAE project standards and practices
- PMP certification or working toward certification is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
