The Assistant Professor in Video Game Design is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in areas such as game development, interactive media, game programming, and digital storytelling, using a balance of theoretical and hands-on, project-based approaches.
The role includes designing and updating course materials, assessing student performance, supervising capstone and portfolio projects, and ensuring the achievement of program learning outcomes.
The Assistant Professor is expected to contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement to align with current industry standards, emerging technologies, and creative practices.
