Assistant Procurement Manager

Role summary

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day procurement activities and purchase requirements.
• Source materials, spare parts, equipment, tools, and services from reliable suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate competitive prices and payment terms.
• Prepare and process RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and compliance with required specifications; build vendor and subcontractor relationships.
• Maintain an updated supplier and price database and coordinate requirements across operations, maintenance, HVAC, finance, and other departments.
• Monitor pending purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier issues; evaluate supplier performance on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Ensure procurement follows company policies, approval procedures, and budget requirements.
• Assist management with procurement reports, cost comparisons, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE local supplier and procurement market.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, coordination, and vendor-management skills.
• Strong MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel; ERP or procurement software experience is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requirements and deadlines.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred industry experience

• Facility management, property management, HVAC/MEP, maintenance, or construction procurement experience is preferred.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 2,500 per month.
