Assistant Operator Coiled Tubing

Job purpose

Coiled tubing operations

• Assist in preparing, assembling, and deploying coiled tubing equipment and tools for well intervention and stimulation.
• Monitor equipment performance, pressure, and flow rates while supporting unit operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Assist with rigging up and rigging down equipment at well sites in accordance with safety procedures and operating standards.
• Support interventions such as cleanouts, perforating, logging, and stimulation treatments under experienced operators and supervisors.
• Handle, inspect, store, and maintain equipment, tools, and materials, including inventory management.
• Coordinate resources and task completion with the coiled tubing team and other departments.

Safety, improvement, and reporting

• Comply with applicable UAE, ADNOC, company, client, and Asset Integrity Management requirements and operating procedures.
• Support HSE and sustainability requirements and the safe integrity of assets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operating procedures and functional processes.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment in line with housekeeping standards.
• Provide input to section progress reports and prepare KPI checklists for management.
• Provide on-the-job training to support Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Qualifications and experience

• Completion of secondary education (12 years) in English, Mathematics, or a science subject, or high school education plus a diploma or certificate in coiled tubing training.
• At least 1 year of practical mechanical exposure and experience as an Operator Assistant.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer awareness, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Simple written and spoken English.
