Responsibilities
- Prepare demand-based resource allocations with the operations supervisor to meet objectives and optimize resources.
- Coordinate timely preparation and delivery of catering equipment with stakeholders.
- Delegate and supervise preparation, dispatch, and loading of catering items to meet safety, quality, and timing standards.
- Support team training, provide guidance, and resolve performance or operational issues.
- Lead BBSM checks to reduce food-safety hazards and support compliance with department procedures and regulations.
- Monitor stock and usage and coordinate supply availability while minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
- Propose improvements to efficiency, cost, and customer experience.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- Three years of experience in flight operations, food packing, or logistics; airline catering or food-industry experience is preferred.
- Two years of team-leader exposure is preferred.
Skills
- Strong operational knowledge, including resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate, and provide guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and prioritization for tight deadlines.
