Overview

The **Assistant Operations Manager** supports the effective management of salon operations,

ensuring high standards of service, efficiency, and team performance.

Working closely with

the Operations Manager, this role contributes to business performance, maintains

operational excellence, and ensures a consistent, premium client experience in line with the

brand.

1. Business & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily salon operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence
  • Act as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the Operations Manager
  • Drive team accountability to ensure smooth execution and high performance
  • Identify operational gaps and implement improvements to enhance overall performance

2. Commercial Performance & Financial Oversight

  • Drive revenue performance and support achievement of business targets
  • Monitor KPIs, sales, and productivity, taking corrective action where required
  • Oversee cost control and operational efficiency
  • Analyze performance data to support informed decision-making and profitability

3. Sales & Business Growth

  • Support revenue growth through upselling, service optimization, and client engagement
  • Contribute to the development and execution of promotions and initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen service offering and market positioning

4. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and support the team to maintain high performance and service standards
  • Oversee scheduling, workforce planning, and productivity
  • Support ongoing team development
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and excellence

5. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and client flow
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Maintain adherence to company policies and brand guidelines

6. Vendor & Resource Management

  • Oversee inventory and supplier coordination
  • Ensure optimal stock levels while maintaining cost efficiencyClient Experience & Brand Standards
  • Ensure consistent delivery of a premium, personalized client experience
  • Uphold and enforce luxury service standards across all client touchpoints
  • Oversee client relationships, including VIP experience and service recovery
  • Leverage client feedback to improve satisfaction and retention

Requirements

  • Experience in salon, spa, hospitality, or luxury service environments
  • Strong operational and team management experience
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of business performance
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
