Assistant Manager - Uniform Control

Position

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform stock records and track issuance, returns, adjustments, and allocations across departments.
• Forecast uniform needs; assist with procurement, supplier liaison, delivery schedules, and vendor evaluations.
• Coordinate staff fittings and ensure proper sizing and comfort during distribution.
• Support cleaning, repair, inspection, and replacement procedures; monitor uniform condition and coordinate with laundry and other departments.
• Track expenses, assist with budgets, and prepare usage and inventory reports.
• Help enforce uniform standards and create or update SOPs and policies.
• Supervise and mentor the team, supporting succession planning and performance management.
• Safeguard confidential employee information and uniform records.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in high-volume wardrobe operations; automated conveyor and UHF RFID systems, housekeeping, or inventory management are preferred experience areas.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, administrative background, and advanced inventory management systems proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong people-management abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/budget management.
