Assistant Manager – Ultrasound Applications

Main Purpose of the Job :

Support the commercial and sales teams by providing clinical and technical application expertise, conducting product demonstrations, delivering user training, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of medical equipment solutions in Utrasound.

Areas of Responsibility :

• Plan and conduct product demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and customer presentations based on customer requirements.
• Expertise in Ultrasound systems, probes/transducers, imaging optimization, clinical applications, workflow integration, and relevant clinical practices.

• User training and post-sales application support should be focused on Ultrasound users and clinical departments
• Provide pre-sales clinical and technical support to the Sales team for medical equipment opportunities.
• Understand customer workflows and recommend appropriate equipment solutions based on clinical and operational requirements.
• Support the preparation of technical specifications, presentations, solution proposals, and tender responses.
• Deliver application and user training during installation, commissioning, and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure users are adequately trained to operate medical equipment safely, effectively, and according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Support equipment implementation and commissioning activities in coordination with Service, Projects, Sales, and vendor teams.
• Provide post-sales application support to ensure effective product utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with troubleshooting clinical application issues and coordinate with Service teams and vendors for technical resolution.
• Monitor customer feedback, identify recurring application issues, and recommend improvements to products, processes, and training programs.
• Maintain strong relationships with clinical users, biomedical engineers, physicians, and other key customer stakeholders.
• Support strategic sales opportunities by providing timely clinical and technical input throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare regular application reports and provide relevant updates to Sales and management.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth project implementation and customer adoption.
• Ensure all application activities comply with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, quality standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in medical equipment applications, clinical support, product specialist, or medical device application roles, preferably with experience in healthcare projects and customer training
• Strong product demonstration and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Strong clinical training and user education capabilities.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Engineering / Medical Technology / Nursing / Allied Health Sciences or a related field
