Role overview

Select or develop suitable Sika admixtures for customers such as ready-mix concrete producers, contractors, and precast producers.

When standard admixtures do not meet requirements, recommend concrete mix-design modifications or, as a last option, modify the admixture formulation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Obtain product approval with new and existing customers to support sales growth.
  • Understand customer requirements and align product development accordingly.
  • Prepare mix designs to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct laboratory testing related to concrete, aggregates, and cement.
  • Record, analyze, certify, and summarize findings, and maintain records of results.
  • Troubleshoot complaints to determine reasons for problems.
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers and contractors.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and testing.
  • Support the sales team with on-site trials.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive changes and initiate necessary actions.
