Role Overview
We are hiring an execution-focused Assistant Manager – Supply Chain to manage the end-to-end flow of goods from different suppliers/manufacturers across the world to Dubai ensuring consistent product availability across all channels.
This role combines import coordination, inventory planning, warehouse operations, and distribution execution with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
1. Supply & Import Coordination
- Plan and align order schedules.
- Manage shipment tracking, freight coordination, and customs clearance
- Ensure all import documentation and regulatory requirements are met
- Maintain visibility on shipment timelines and proactively manage delays
2. Inventory & Demand Management
- Maintain optimal inventory across SKUs to balance availability and working capital
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving, and near-expiry inventory
- Align closely with sales forecasts to drive efficient replenishment
- Ensure zero disruption in supply for priority products
3. Warehouse & Distribution Execution
- Oversee warehouse operations including inwarding, storage, and stock accuracy
- Plan and execute dispatches across D2C, marketplaces, and distribution partners
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, invoicing, and timely deliveries
- Manage logistics partners to optimize service levels and costs
4. Channel Availability & Business Support
- Ensure high fill rates across all sales channels
- Support new product launches with timely supply readiness
- Coordinate with internal teams to address urgent or priority requirements
5. Compliance & Process Discipline
- Maintain accurate documentation across import, warehousing, and dispatch
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulatory and audit requirements
- Build structured processes to improve efficiency and control
Success Metrics
- Consistent product availability across channels
- High on-time delivery and dispatch accuracy
- Optimized inventory levels and reduced holding costs
- Zero compliance or documentation errors
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics (FMCG, Nutraceutical, Pharma preferred)
- Strong understanding of import logistics and inventory planning
- Hands-on experience in warehouse and distribution operations
- Familiarity with UAE compliance is an advantage
- Strong Excel & ERP skills
- Execution-oriented with high ownership
