- Develop and implement department strategy aligned to company strategy
- Establish best practices and processes in Revenue Accounting
- Ensure accurate accounting of Revenues and Costs per IFRS
- Analyze revenue and cost data for insightful reports
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and SOPs
- Assess and monitor risks in Revenue Accounting
- Collaborate with cross functional teams for revenue accounting solutions
- Prepare and verify Revenue, Cost of Sales, and Gross Profit budgets
- Assist in feasibility and project appraisal reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for audits
- Verify inventory provisioning and coordinate annual physical count
- Mentor and develop direct reportees

- Bachelor's Degree
- Qualified CA/CPA/ACCA
- Minimum 8+ years of experience

Job Purpose
- Assist in developing and implementing department strategy aligned to company strategy.
- Identify and establish best practice and processes in the Revenue Accounting section.
- Collaborate with cross functional leadership teams regarding processes and controls.
- Ensure accurate accounting of Revenues and Costs per IFRS.
Principal Accountabilities
- Establish and align policies and practices about Revenues and Costs.
- Bring continuous improvement through re engineering of processes.
- Assist Business Units in developing policies pertaining to Pricing and Revenue streams.
- Analyze, interpret and evaluate Revenue and costs data for reports.
- Update, maintain and develop accounting policies and SOPs.
- Develop and maintain Service level agreements for Revenue accounting.
- Assess and monitor risks and ensure mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams for revenue accounting solutions.
- Establish effective Business planning and Budgeting processes.
- Preparation and verification of Revenue, Cost of Sales and Gross Profit budgets.
- Assist in preparation of feasibility and project appraisals reports.
- Ensure compliance of statutory requirements for audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- Qualified CA/CPA/ACCA
- Minimum 8+ years of experience
