Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – QA & QC to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities in our HVAC air conditioning manufacturing facility.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, process compliance, inspection standards, and continuous improvement initiatives in line with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, standards, and quality systems in the manufacturing plant.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of HVAC products and components.
- Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, audit records, and test results.
- Lead internal quality audits and support external/customer audits.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and coordinate supplier corrective actions when required.
- Train and guide QA/QC inspectors and production staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
