Assistant Manager - Pool & Beach Bar

Role overview

Operations and service

• Assist with daily pool and beach bar operations and maintain efficient, high-quality service.
• Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction; resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across the outlet.
• Support promotions, events, and seasonal activities to enhance guest engagement.

Team leadership and guest experience

• Supervise and motivate the team; conduct daily briefings, allocate duties, and monitor performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and team training; ensure compliance with grooming, service, and brand standards.
• Build guest relationships, anticipate needs, resolve feedback and complaints, and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Financial and compliance duties

• Support revenue targets through upselling and promotions; monitor costs, inventory, and stock to control expenses and wastage.
• Assist with reports, forecasts, and budgets; ensure accurate billing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and alcohol service policies; maintain awareness of emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Two to four years of experience in luxury or upscale food and beverage operations.
• Experience in pool, beach, or resort environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of premium beverage trends, service rituals, and guest engagement.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; knowledge of POS systems and inventory control.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
