Overview
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - General Ledger to join our dynamic finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial reporting processes.
In this role, you will collaborate with various departments and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial operations, supporting Qiddiya’s vision of driving innovation in the investment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and supervise ledger postings.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Contribute to process improvements and adherence to accounting policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in general ledger or financial accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
