Overview

Mai Dubai is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – E-Commerce to drive online sales growth, strengthen strategic marketplace partnerships, and enhance the customer experience across digital channels.

The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG and E-Commerce experience, proven account management capabilities, and the ability to lead initiatives that deliver sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement E-Commerce sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Manage and grow key marketplace accounts including Talabat, Noon, Careem, Kibsons, Amazon Seller Central, and other online platforms.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with key buyers and platform partners.
  • Drive customer acquisition initiatives through digital channels in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the E-Commerce sales funnel, including lead generation, qualification, conversion, and retention.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities to optimize growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth platform operations, resolve issues, and enhance user experience.
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Senior Management to align business objectives and execution plans.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business presentations and commercial proposals.
  • Ensure timely execution of projects through effective critical path management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (Master’s Degree or professional certifications are an advantage).
  • 7-10 years of FMCG experience, including 5-7 years in E-Commerce sales and marketplace management.
  • Strong knowledge of major E-Commerce platforms, including Talabat, Noon, Careem, Kibsons, and Amazon Seller Central.
  • Proficiency in SAP, POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven track record in sales, negotiation, account management, and revenue growth.
  • Strong presentation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused, target-driven, and commercially astute.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong analytical mindset with basic financial acumen and critical path management experience.
