Group Retail Risk is the Credit Policy unit for Retail Lending, covering Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Credit Cards, Mortgages, Overdraft, and SME.
Job purpose
Work with analysts, statisticians, and database managers to devise, develop, and enhance MIS and analytical reports.
Build a comprehensive data platform and analytics pack for products.
Risk dashboards and forecasting
- Prepare monthly risk dashboards and MIS for the Emirates NBD Retail portfolio.
- Investigate portfolio deterioration and track delinquencies and losses against budget.
- Assist in preparing portfolio loss forecasts, including Micro SME, coordinating on volume budgets and policy factors.
- Validate loss forecast models and track actual results against plans.
Segmentation and portfolio analysis
- Execute monthly credit and collections segmentation models for Retail and Micro SME portfolios.
- Ensure data aligns with the approved segmentation document and publish results to stakeholders on time.
- Prepare monthly portfolio updates, generate the Personal Loans retention base, and generate CLI and LOC bases on agreed timelines.
- Analyze profitable Credit Card segments and prepare materials for relevant presentations.
Education and experience
- Graduate qualification or above.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
Knowledge and skills
- Microsoft Suite, SAS, and other statistical tools.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and communication.
- Knowledge of retail asset banking products.
