Assistant Manager Commercial & Planning FLS (Saudi National)
to join our team!
In this role you will get to support and manage procurement, commercial, and planning activities, ensuring effective coordination, compliance, and delivery aligned with project objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the management of procurement and commercial functions for small to medium-sized projects, including purchasing, expediting, supplier coordination, and logistics.
- Assist in planning and tracking procurement and commercial activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and budgets.
- Review work performed by team members to ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and quality expectations.
- Monitor productivity and performance of assigned personnel and support resource planning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, project management teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of procurement and planning activities.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and promote best practices across commercial and planning functions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure consistent performance and compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, including business ethics and conflict-of-interest standards.
- Support performance evaluations, training, and development of team members.
- Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and support corrective actions to maintain project performance.
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and reporting related to procurement and planning activities.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically 8+ years of related experience in procurement, commercial, or planning functions, including some leadership exposure.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, commercial management, and project planning principles.
- Experience working within project environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in material control systems (e.g., DMCS) or similar tools.
