Provide assistance with general maintenance under the normal maintenance program, arrange minor repairs, and respond to client or end-user requests.
Help improve maintenance service standards.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate maintenance teams and distribute daily schedules; monitor, guide, and motivate team members.
- Follow up on maintenance schedules and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Handle customer queries and routine maintenance for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and platforms.
- Prepare spare-parts cost sheets and quotations; request materials so the storekeeper can prepare invoices and delivery notes.
- Handle customer matters relating to AMC contracts.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements; attend training and seminars.
Job Specifications
- High school diploma and related technical certification.
- Four to five years of experience in a similar category.
- Sound understanding of preventive elevator maintenance, elevator technical components, and safety.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills; English language skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and parts.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
