Manager in Construct Domain is required for one of our clients in Sharjah

he Assistant Finance Manager supports financial planning, reporting, and control functions across construction projects and corporate operations.

The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with policies, and effective utilization of Oracle Fusion ERP for financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

The position works closely with project teams to monitor financial performance and support decision-making.

Accountability

Core Responsibilities: Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Support month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor project costs, revenues, and profitability using Oracle Fusion Financials and Projects modules.Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper documentation.Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.Support cash flow management, including receivables, payables, and treasury coordination. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.  Coordinate with project teams to track budgets versus actual performance.Assist with audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Support implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion finance processes. Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for management.

Self-Management:Set annual performance objectives with the reporting manager.Maintain continuous learning in finance practices, ERP systems, and compliance standardsskillsWritten and spoken English is essential, Arabic is preferredOracle fusion experience is mustConstruction Industry experience is must

Candidate Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Monitor project costs, revenues, and profitability using Oracle Fusion.
  • Support month-end/year-end closing and audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams to support business decision-making.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

  • Oracle Fusion Financials (3+ years hands-on experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of continuous experience with the current employer
  • Construction industry experience is mandatory
