Assistant Finance Manager

Position details

Financial responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy; maintain files, records, cash, and cash equivalents securely.
• Record and analyze computerized financial information; classify, code, and summarize financial data for records.
• Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until payment or resolution.

Coordination and workplace duties

• Coordinate tasks with other departments; mentor as a departmental role model and ensure work is timely and meets quality standards.
• Report work-related accidents or injuries promptly and follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication, protect confidential information and company assets, and build positive working relationships.
• Support team goals, listen and respond to colleagues' concerns, and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience or license or certification is stated as required.
