Sales and marketing duties
- Promote brand image and use sales techniques to increase revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Call potential owners to arrange preview package sales or tours and encourage purchases or scheduling.
- Explain presentation requirements and verify eligibility before scheduling a vacation-club tour.
- Provide complimentary gifts to guests in recognition of patronage.
- Perform general Sales & Marketing office duties and accurately record and relay messages.
Guest service and team support
- Assist management with employee training, evaluation, counseling, motivation, and coaching.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard guest and coworker privacy.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
- Maintain quality standards, handle physical tasks involving objects up to 10 pounds, and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Experience
- At least 2 years of luxury five-star resort work experience.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Previous Marriott experience is preferred.
