Assistant Audit Manager

About This Role

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of proven experience in an audit firm and possess strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing standards, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise audit team, assign tasks and monitor daily progress
• Review financial statements, audit files, and working papers
• Ensure timely completion of audits and strict adherence to deadlines
• Follow up with team regularly to avoid delays and pending work
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations, VAT and Corporate Tax
• Maintain timely and professional communication with clients
• Respond to emails, calls, and messages without delay
• Review final reports before submission to ensure accuracy and quality
• Coordinate with management on progress, issues, and workload
• Ensure proper documentation, audit files, and KYC/AML compliance
• Handle multiple engagements efficiently and meet delivery timelines
• Support client meetings, queries, and technical discussions
• Assist in proposals, onboarding, and other audit-related assignments

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit firm in UAE
• ACCA Member or CA Finalist (or equivalent qualification)
• Strong understanding of IFRS, and audit procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
