Asset Management Project Manager

General Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of asset management projects from initiation through commissioning and operational handover
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, and stakeholder alignment across the full delivery lifecycle
• Develop and maintain asset registers, asset data standards, and governance frameworks for asset information management
• Implement asset lifecycle and maintenance strategies aligned with ISO 55000 and recognized asset management practices
• Coordinate closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and client stakeholders to ensure delivery and operational objectives remain aligned
• Drive governance activities including status reporting, steering committee updates, change management, and escalation management
• Oversee commissioning and handover processes, ensuring complete documentation, asset readiness, and clear operational ownership
• Track project benefits, delivery performance, and operational outcomes against agreed objectives and KPIs
• Apply structured PMO and project delivery methodologies consistently throughout the engagement

Required Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of project management experience within asset-intensive industries such as infrastructure, utilities, energy, transportation, industrial, or large-scale facilities environments
• Strong experience delivering asset management or capital project initiatives within the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or wider GCC region
• Hands-on knowledge of asset management standards and frameworks, particularly ISO 55000
• Proven experience managing project governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and operational handover activities
• Experience building and managing asset registers, maintenance strategies, and lifecycle management processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior client leadership and PMO stakeholders
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred
• IAM or other asset management certifications are considered an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
• Arabic language skills are advantageous but not mandatory
• Immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred
