Role Description
The Asset Integrity Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities.
The role involves establishing and overseeing asset integrity frameworks for physical infrastructure, IT systems, and data assets that support the genomics data platform.
Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining asset registers, defining maintenance and inspection schedules, and implementing risk-based assessment methodologies.
The Asset Integrity Manager will monitor asset performance, analyze failure modes, and coordinate corrective actions to reduce downtime and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security standards.
The role also includes collaborating with engineering, IT, data governance, and operations teams to align asset integrity plans with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, the manager will prepare reports, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership on asset condition, lifecycle planning, and capital investment priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in asset integrity management, reliability engineering, or maintenance management, preferably in data centers, life sciences, utilities, or other critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong skills in developing and managing asset registers, inspection and maintenance plans, and risk-based integrity assessments.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices for asset integrity, safety, and quality management (e.g., ISO standards, reliability and risk methodologies).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment documentation, and engineering specifications to inform integrity strategies and maintenance plans.
- Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), asset management software, or related digital tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making for asset performance improvement.
- Familiarity with information security, data protection, and infrastructure resilience principles in technology or data-focused environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, procedures, and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams and to manage stakeholders across operations, IT, and leadership.
